Liberty Care Home - Van Elle
In 2022, we supported our long-standing client, Van Elle, with the supply of steel tubulars for piling for the building of a 72-bedroom, 3-storey care home inStoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire.
Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering was contracted by Glencar Construction Ltd for the piling work at their Baytree Nuneaton project site in Warwickshire.
Ivor King, one of the UK’s leading sheet piling and bored piling contractors, was contracted to install piling to assist with the structural stability of a Grade II listed bridge near York which dated back to 1650.
Roger Bullivant Limited (RB) was employed to install tubular steel piles required to support a new housing development at Waterfront Plaza, Leith, Edinburgh on behalf of Cala Homes (East) Scotland and Port of Leith Housing Association.

For this project John Lawrie Tubulars supplied 1,843 meters of 457and 339mm pipe to be used as piling for the foundations of the slow line platform at Brent Cross West Station.
Our client Van Elle won the work to install piles that would form part of a new shock absorber anchorage system that would allow the Don Valley Viaduct to remain in use for many years.
For this bank stabilisation project, we supplied 117 No. 339mm diameter Grade L80 steel Circular Hollow Section (CHS) piles which were cut to length and supplied from our Montrose facility.
The project, situated in Grangemouth, Scotland involves installing around 260 No. 508mm diameter steel tube piles to support varying structures as part of the new Energy from Waste centre.
