Project Summary

In 2022, we supported our long-standing client, Van Elle, with the supply of steel tubulars for piling for the building of a 72-bedroom, 3-storey care home inStoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire.

Van Elle installed 191no 244mm diameter TDT to lengths between 8.0m – 20.0m with loads up to600kN using a Junttan PM20 rig.

Using repurposed steel tubulars as piling helps to reduce CO2e emissions and goes a long way in supporting net zero and sustainability goals for both our clients and suppliers.

For this project, a reduction of 486.67t CO2e was achieved through the use of John Lawrie Tubulars’ repurposed steel pipe.
